Mom and Dad are here from Michigan! It really has been a blast showing them my new apartment, catching up, eating out with the other AIR’s, etc. But it’s true what they say about distance and the heart. They’ve got me missing home, those summers of my childhood, and eating vegetables straight from the soil.

I’ll be with my parents and extended family in Blowing Rock, North Carolina for a wedding through Sunday. Until then . . .
